Cat's behaviour

The cat behaves differently depending on his character and mood. It needs a clean space and must mark in the permeating smell of his arrival to avoid other cats. The cats are also very clean, the toilet is a daily ritual for everyone. Despite its domestication, the cat keeps a wild instinct and a need to hunt.

As a mammal, the cat has the same bodies and the same bone structure as humans. But it is a carnivore and its sharp teeth, powerful jaws and his intestines are planned for short-food meat. It is also a hunter to feel very developed. He sees the slightest noise and sees in the dark.

The INSTINCT WILD:

The domestic cat has gradually accustomed to human contact, but he never completely lost its wild instincts. The kittens are very frightened from birth. Genetically wild cats and domestic cats are virtually identical. Sociability is an essential quality of the domestic cat, especially since his role fighter has less. If modern cats are forced to live with many of their peers, their territorial behaviors are still quite evident: marking with claws, with urine and fighting. A farm cat who saw his family hunt is more capable to do the same as another cat raised in a pension or cats in the city. But games of all cats are based on the rituals of their ancestors hunting wild (the leopard, cats in general).

HUNTING:

Virtually all the cats hunt alone. They need to attack by surprise and be extremely fast. They come furtively using all means in order not to be seen and when they are close enough, they surge and terrassent their prey. The cat is a good sourricier. Some prefer to catch lizards, birds or insects. But hunting is a behavior that is learned and some cats are not great hunters. The cats relate to their homes mice or birds died or worse half dead. Sometimes you feel that you present their prey and that is what they do. Even well-fed cat is often hunt, it does sometimes eat their prey, but most of the time they hunt for care or play with their victims.

CLIMBING AND BALANCE:

The cat is incredibly good at climbing. It has an excellent sense of balance and an innate flexibility. Its claws are indispensable to climb trees, fences, furniture ... The nails are used to grab, or clinging to cling to avoid the drop. Some cats spend a significant part of their lives in trees, moving without fear on all branches even closer. They have a system of self-protection in the event of a fall. The eyes, brain and the inner ear that controls balance, are assured of always falling back on their feet. A few seconds after its loss of balance, the cat is in an ideal position for landing. The head and fragile part of the body are out of danger.
